Last few days, I’ve been less active here. Results: follower growth slowed down. But one thing’s clear: 🦋 has stronger vibes than 𝕏 for the #buildinpublic fam. Keep sharing, building and stay consistent!

I've also noticed a significant drop in new followers over the past month. I think there was a big influx of new users in our niche and it's now slowed down a bit. Hopefully it'll pick up again 🙂

Sme for me! But i still see people on X that are not active here, not only big accounts. So there is still a lot of potential I think :)

It is easier for them to stay on an established platform where they have their audience. The thing is: many people are only passive consumers who are okay with liking Levelsio's posts.

But there are many smaller makers with the aspiration to become bigger but, unfortunately, their engagement suffers on X. Primarily this group of people could migrate on Bluesky.

This is what happened to me. I spent years on twitter trying to build an audience and basically failed, only getting to 1.5k or so. It felt like a massive slog to be honest and there was no real engagement. It feels more genuine here with people who actually care rather than just trying to sell.

Remember, when this platform grows, people start selling here too. It is human nature to benefit from prosperous places. This pattern has been repeating for centuries.

The one bot that just tried to sell backlinks under every post mentioning #buildinpublic was the worst so far for me 😅

I've just muted the "best of buildinpublic" bit that appeared about 10 times in my feed this morning. I'm working on an app where I'll be posting about user's results automatically, but I've adjust built-in a rate limit to avoid spamming.

I don't care too much about popping up repeatedly in my feed. It is more annoying when I get the same message under every post I have with a certain hashtag. Hmm, how do you plan to control such thing as popping up in the feed too much? Isn't it just based on how much people interact with the post?
