Thanks! Comps are hard because the world & the main problem are like Silo + Children of Time, but the voice and community/exploration of non-human intelligence is a lot like Murderbot and Chambers. I feel like those need qualifiers so people aren’t expecting plot similarities, but the vibes are on.

I totally understand; my comps are more vibes than plot. In my query letter, I specifically call out which elements of the comps I'm speaking to, but I don't do that in my pitches. You have 6 pitches total so you can always experiment and play around with how you put your comps in there!
