the goal is still "you're going to give up your privacy to use our service or we'll treat you like a teenager" so nothing has changed for me. to hell with discord, it's time to support the alternatives.

yeah. that was the original goal so nothing actually changed there, and reading the post what's actually changing is "we're delaying it a bit and we promise to make more blogposts before it happens". which. I didn't want blogposts I wanted the thing to not happen in the first place
