#SoFurryServerMoveUpdate A new volunteer developer joined the team, work is progressing on bugfixes & general things that just need to be done before going live. New off-site server is now syncing data which will take some time, but does not have to be 100% done before opening the doors. [1/2]

Exam season & work did us in but we hope you'll forgive us for taking a bit longer still. Progress is still being made, so stay tuned for more updates soon. Thank you! [2/2]

>3 months fully down is kind of unbelievable and makes me seriously doubt your commitment and competency, but here we are - not so much as a mirror to access. There was a contest in my mind between wanting SoFurry back and wanting a better alternative to appear Was.

I mean, it's a dope place for writers. Many writers miss it. I'm waiting for them to go live so I can DELETE my drafts, so I can publish my series, but that's an entirely different bag of ... well, you know. 🙀

I wholeheartedly agree. There isn't really a written-art alternative, apart from extraordinarily problematic sites. Like I said, I was originally eager for SoFurry to be back. But the delays have truly gone beyond the pale, and I'm not impressed with the excuses. Clearly, SF is a low priority.

Yeah it's looking grim with <3 month time of being shut down. With the only other places for Furry stories being Archive of our own and Furaffinity.

What kind of money are you guys trying to generate to get this operation moving forward? Give us a number so we can crowd fund it or something. Or drop some links to where some of us can donate to speed this up (and help you guys friggin' eat, too).

Yay and that's good. good luck with fixing the website and hopefully when I log back into my account on sofurry, all of my scripts that I made over the years are still there on my shouts. I don't want to loose all of them.
