Framerate in Belmont's Curse is atrocious. I'm not normally one to bemoan framerates, but this is truly uniquely weird: Game is 60 FPS, but swinging objects are at 30? Its SUPER jarring and really noticeable. Also every cutscene randomly drops to like 30? Just pick one, 60 or 30. Both is bad.

I have been digging it! I would not say its in my top three for Castlevania but a fine entry.. though my biggest gripe is the soundtrack? It just has not hit for me yet

Totally agree on the soundtrack. So far none of the songs have much... "oomph" to them? It all sounds so similar. I'm incredibly mixed. Been writing down my thoughts. I'm having fun at times, but there's a LOT of Castlevania DNA missing. The same enemies in every area forever isnt helping haha.

Cant wait for your video! I hope a lot of Castlevania fans play it & share experiences so we can see some updates & of course new titles! Happy spooky & Castlevania season!

Thanks! Yeah it'll probably be a couple weeks cause I want to give it its full due diligence, but I'm definitely excited to talk about it.

That's also one of my big complaints. Its why I wasn't a big fan of the Ori games, cause I just felt like I couldn't see anything. Also not sure the swinging effect translate well in this video, but EVERY moving object is half the framerate of the game itself, so in motion its super stuttery.

Yeah my wife isn't framerate sensitive at all, but when she saw me playing she noticed it as well, even said it'd give her a headache staring at it.
