I'm not sure what the future holds for me as a furry photographer. My con attendance is becoming limited. My photos aren't highly desireable as half of the fandom is photographers. My bank account is rapidly depleting. The cost has been in my time and money.

I was 49 when I did my first fursuit dance comp. I did have and pack my DSLR camera for that trip but wound up taking very few photos. I'm not sure which conventions you're going to but down here (Texas) it seems we don't have that many photographers at cons, at least that upload to Furtrack.

LSFC was a pretty notable exception as I had photos of me in fursuit from just about every event where I wore it. Dance comp, dance battle, fursuit games, fursuit parade. I do plan to do more photography particularly at the cons where I am sitting out the dance events.

Just my humble take: enjoy the cons and don’t make photos your whole trip. Keep it a hobby for yourself. If you’re going to monetize your media, videography is probably what’s going to make you stand out.

My favorite photos of me wearing my sergal head are taken by you. Your photos are highly desirable in my eyes ❤️

I personally didn't know you did paid coms for photos! But love the photos I do have from ya! The general economy being how it is also hasn't been helping creatives much... here's to hoping you get some soon!

I don't do paid commissions, because I already have a full time day job. My photography is at my will as a hobby. I appreciate your compliment and thank you, Wyra!
