Very much agreed but calling it a "rolling stop law" would melt brains. In Colorado we call it the "Safety Stop" for cyclists. Hard to argue against that name.

Great video! (I was only mildly stressed for your around 8:15 when I thought the car at the stop sign might go as you were rolling along). Can you tell that I have daily bad experiences with cars on my rides along Calgary's residential streets? 😂 #yycbike

Thank you for your concern! More and more, I go out of my way for car-free routes. It's just so much more pleasant to not stress about it.

I wish I had options for car-free riding, but unfortunately most of the places I have to go are too far from paths or cycle tracks and when they aren't, there are such major gaps in connections. There's some promising protected lanes coming though, I think.
