If Second Wind were to have a website component focused on original written columns from a variety of different authors... is that something you would be interested in and potentially pay to subscribe for?

I like the idea of Darren and Marty’s columns being on a website, I’d definitely continue to pay for access. I’d be interested in more industry news content if you guys were game. Also odder stuff like a listicle version of the DS boss roommate rankings(not a specific example, but that vibe.)

Also if Darren was interested in doing more full reviews I’d be game for that on there as well. Doesn’t need to be a scored thing, but more actual stuff about what he thought of something on a storytelling and craft level

Darren's bsky account & Letterboxed are great follows if you want bite-sized versions of him. And he's always responsive if you just reply to a thread about something he just watched and want some more details or have some thoughts to bounce off him.

don't think the internet needs more written news content, but always have time for folks with long memories and interesting insights given the space to explore their ideas. the written equivalent to Marty's Parasite Eve vid for example. would also love a 'letters to the editor' type of section!

I would pay for some good quality magazine-style writing about games. There's an awful lot of "industry news" publications right now, and while that has its place, I would love to see a written outlet that focuses on analysis of the artistry, the creativity and the design of the actual games.

Some deeper dives and maybe interviews with industry workers or creators, your recent videos on layoffs and the ratf***ing around Subnautica 2 come to mind. Besides that maybe some retrospective reviews

I periodically pay to read Darren Mooney’s articles via Patreon. I’d love an ad-supported website where I could just visit without having to do the Patreon dance. Or I’d like it to be an easier one-time payment (sorry that’s not super sustainable!)
