- So a while back I wrote a short story. - A friend turned that short story into a script. - That same friend, and a producer, turned that script into a short film. -That short film will premier soon. Is there any way this could help me find publishers for other short stories?

the script credit gives you a producer shorthand for "this story already works on its feet." second act material. pitch it that way.
