Bard (playbard.fm) is just pending app store review and ought to be in the wild in the next day or so. Bard is a podcast player for literally just actual plays and audio drama. I already think hands-down it's the best place to discover new shows. -- and ai podcast fiction is suppressed.

I appreciate that you're actively avoiding AI podcasts! Do you and/or the project hold the same view for AI tools, like development tools or any scrapers, or do you make use of them in your development and/or curation processes?

A little inside baseball: I'm still pending the App Store review as of August 23rd. I submitted version 0.1.15. My TestFlight version is 0.1.18. Tomorrow, if it's still pending, I'm just going to resubmit to close the gap, but it will reset my review pending period.

It’s been a dance. It’s been rejected a couple of times and I’ve had to make some changes and resubmit.
