I’ve been waiting impatiently for this boxed set to arrive. A small starter set for Trench Crusade. There are two small warbands, and a narrative campaign book to go with them. Might be something to play when this current campaign is over.

The book opens with a brief overview of the history and places in the Carcass Front region. The lore for the setting continues to be extra in the best way. In the vignette we learn the pope’s communicant bodyguard eats him to avoid his capture by the heretics, and now he’s like a super communicant.

This opening section expands on the short timeline that opens the book, the one with the cool fake woodcut. (Which, knowing these guys, probably is a real woodcut.)
