Note that the abstract deadline is before the notifications for some adjacent conferences (e.g., NeurIPS 2026). Registering an abstract for a submitted paper is allowed, as long as the full paper is not submitted.

In other words: If the paper is already under review elsewhere, authors may still register the abstract at SaTML, but they must not submit the full paper unless that other submission has been resolved (rejected or withdrawn) by the SaTML paper submission deadline.
