@jeremymorrell.dev any plans for cloudflare to ingest external generic OTEL traces? would love to attach my web server's (non-worker) traces to the already existing CF tracing.

Something we definitely want to do, but not yet top of the pile. Can you say more? Is this so you can get full traces cf -> web server in other cloud? What, specifically, is compelling about having your traces in CF vs, say, an established tool like Datadog or Honeycomb?

I spent ~8 months building my own observability platform (intended to ship as a product) because I was so unhappy with the existing tools. I had to pause it while I went down another product path because the whole solve ended up being more of a database problem than anything.
