Question to developers using coding assistants : do you still use your IDE or you switched to your terminal only ? A bit of both maybe ?

I've stopped my intellij ultimate subscription (which is paid until 2028). I don't need most of the paid features anymore

I still use the IDE for file review, code search, viewing the data, commit diffs. Pycharm is also very nice to run and tweak small scripts, and RustRover helps me learning rust because it integrates well with the analyzer, and gives interesting context. Editing now only goes through the term however

Thanks for your answer. Very interesting. On my side I started using the terminal inside the IDE but it quicky becomes too small so I switched to full terminal. Also keep using terminal for exploring files and learning purposes.

tui + PR reviews are becoming the main entry point of my work too. But it still feels a bit weird to me 😅
