@stephaniewalter.bsky.social where are the luxembourgers?

One less Australian these last two years too 😢 Miss you all

Over the last year in my conferencing I have seen a trajectory of companies that scaled too big that are scaling down, and those being laid off starting their own smaller companies. Also, more folks going freelance, working with each other, and revenue sharing. Not necessarily bad, just different.

Probably not an answer you have but do you know of any communities where I can ask about the revenue sharing setup they've used? I have many questions

If you're in the Netherlands then the DGA Slack is the best place to ask. Otherwise, I'm sadly unsure unless you can go to conferences and ask there

A weirdly repetitive part of this, that I’ve seen happy a few times over my long-ish career at this point, is companies scaling up too much and too fast. It rarely ever works out well, yet it keeps happening. Or maybe it just visually keeps happening. There are also many small companies around.

Also, I am seeing talks, but I’m not live posting them this time. I’m taking it a little easier today
