WAIT ✋ i want to talk about vaemmrich ive decided. this will give me an excuse to come up with headcanons 🤧🖤

1. ok first one <3 i'll start with one i've already sort of talked about she used to be a habitual coffee drinker but vaena meets emm and starts having tea with him prior to them dating!! and she uses it as an excuse to spend time with him but she ends up really liking it (because its his favorite)

2. she's much shorter than him but much stronger and she can lift him up and put him on her shoulder, its just not very graceful (she has definitely done this before to avoid his coattails trailing in the marsh water)

3. sometimes he sits with his legs in her lap while he reads out loud and she massages his legs and joints to help with pain :) <3 theyre BOTH familiar with the finer points of anatomy 😌

4. when emmrich first joined she was so comforted at the pure familiarity of another watcher that she started gravitating to him during downtime. she didnt realize WHY at first... (once she had her Oh. moment she panicked so bad she avoided being alone with him for a week)

6. emmrich made (with lucanis's help) his mother's torte recipe at the lighthouse to surprise vaena with something nice earlier into their relationship

7. emmrich realized, in this moment, that he loved her. he knew he cared for her, appreciated her company and her heart, but this was the first time he'd seen such naked joy on her face and he wanted to see it every day.

8. when theyre laying together emmrich will trace her lightning-magic scars that cover her body. it always guarantees to make her laugh because shes a little ticklish but its especially calming for her on her arms + back
