Ron Hitchens on Mythryl: “Sad news. We know it's inevitable, but it's always sad to hear of…”

Sad news. We know it's inevitable, but it's always sad to hear of the passing of another of the Star Trek: TOS cast. They all shaped the culture. Chekov was one of my favorite characters and a bold choice in Cold War America of the 60s. That leaves only Shatner and Takei still with us.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.
