Fortunately after two miserable days a friend on discord was able to help me find a backup that was hidden in the folder and I'm not going to kill myself anymore LMFAO

yeah not as often as I should 🫠 when I finished plopping the lots I saved as so I have that as a backup. but the whole MONTH of edits, the sim families, is all gone.

Ya, I feel that I use crashplan (was grandfathered in from a personal plan) for off site back up. On site back up isn't up. But I'm looking into building a NAS. Idk why CAS and build mode always seem like the biggest pain when having to re-do work. I can't imagine a month of editing.

Oh no omg! That happened to me recently too. Good thing I think the game now let's you roll back a save father back than before so I could find a copy of my lost save under the recovery button under some other random save file. I'd recommend you check just in case!
