I don't talk about work much on here, but we released a change to the Discord Canary channel today that I both put a lot of work into and is also near and dear to my heart: a new update experience for Linux. Discord can now fully update itself on Linux like Steam does (and like the Windows client)

We also added new package download options: RPM for Fedora and derivatives and .pkg.tar.zst for Arch and derivatives. Links for these have not been posted to our Discord Testing Clients help center page yet, here's the RPM: discord.com/api/download... and pkg.tar.zst: discord.com/api/download...
