This language doesn't seem like a good defense to me. If a cattle rancher's herd escaped and trampled a suburban neighborhood we'd blame the rancher.

over the past few weeks several AI evaluation/cybersecurity experts have explained how what's happening is a result of human incompetence rather than "AI going rogue". I'm begging the media to show a shred of journalistic integrity and stop parroting what altman or amodei say

This should go to court and establish precedent. The choice is either good precedent for AI responsibility or a good precedent for ignoring DMCA, breaking DRM and overall hacking - my laptop did it! 🫣
