The way this story is written it suggests -- but stops short of saying outright -- that, thanks to a turncoat in Russian military intelligence, the Dutch discovered the iOS vulnerability that the Russians had been using take screenshots of Jared Kushner's phone and helped themselves to it.

The story doesn't say outright that the Dutch used the Russians' method for getting into the phone, instead saying that they "found a vulnerability." Curious. Also curious that a vulnerability would allow a spy service to take screenshots but not steal files. www.vanityfair.com/story/jared-...

Yeah, honestly I have a pretty significant suspicion the story is not right, that the reporter was fed it by an intelligence operative for some reason I can’t fathom. It feels too pat, too convenient somehow. I dunno.

The story raises many questions. For starters, how long was the GRU inside Kushner’s phone? What kind of kompromat might they have on him and the Trump clan? Anything on that GRU server shed light on DJT’s Manchurian candidate-like affinity for Putin.
