It's not just Musk, many US billionaires got sweetheart contracts and grants from the US government. The same people, who received billion$ from the Feds, are using their Fed-created wealth for trying to destroy the social safety net of all Americans.

Great article! Readers should understand that it can only scratch the surface of the impact of Federal funding on U.S. science and technology. U.S. business prosper only because of the stream of nutrients from Federally-funded research. The tech industry would not exist, otherwise.
