In @obsidian.md, I typically use Cmd+O to navigate between files, and I never noticed how much of a nightmare this was because of the way that Obsidian handles tab-handling, which is not at all the way that IDEs like VSCode handle it, which is what I'm used to.

When you open a new file in Obsidian, that file by default is opened in the current tab, replacing the file that you were viewing a moment before.

Whereas in IDEs, this file, if it was not already open, would have been opened in a new tab, and if it was already open, it would have switched to that already open file, not replace the current tab with the new file.

This should be the default behavior, though. I shouldn't have to use a plugin for this, especially considering this is one of those frustrations that one tends to not notice potentially for a long time.
