What is it about a "watermelon" that makes ANYONE feel "unsafe"? And clearly "everybody" doesn't include Dr. Ge himself. If a doctor so racist that support of Palestinians makes them "unsafe", then what kind of healthcare will they provide Palestinians/Muslims? That's the question to answer!!

What a weird thing for the OMA to take a stand on. A watermelon pin is a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people and a protest against the occupation of Palestinian territories.

I have heard about the rampant racism and sexism among the top Drs. in Canada, so bad that we have lost a lot of Drs. to the States in the last 20 years. There is one I know of living in Texas and she rather practice in the States, then come back here. She rather live in Fascism, think about that.

Doctors should oppose genocide. That seems like a basic requirement of the job. There is no debate about this issue, Palestine must be free, and Israel must be brought to international justice for their crimes against humanity.
