👀 Working on the finishing touches! (no, no lame ass April Fools)

Forgot one of the buttons (sliders), but added them now! I dont have a solution for replacing the metal connector pins on the inside, so that’s gonna be something the community might have to get creative with themselves 🤷‍♂️

Also made a variant for an upgraded LCD screen to be mounted (pressure fit) and aligned in the shell.

Also, I need to give a HUGE shoutout to @maded2.bsky.social for donating to get shells printed for verification (granted, this has been a while ago 🙈 Life's been super busy for me) - much appreciated my friend ❤️

I wanted to make sure that all the available glass bezels also fit. The ones tested here are; - AliExpress 3.5" (left, white one) - Original (center, black) - Console5 (Black slim) Console5 one is the overall highest quality one, and the one I recommend the most! console5.com/store/pc-eng...

Also tested to make sure the original screen and bezel still fits correctly, along with all the buttons and speaker;

One of the absolute most difficult parts to all of this, was making sure the battery connectors all fit too - this took a crazy amount of time to get right!

And last but not least, I had to ensure/proof all the parts also fit as replacement mix&match with the original shell. Following is a dump of images that showcase this;

and last up, we have the battery cover itself - which required an additional order, because it was ever so slightly off on the first run. Happy to report it's now fitting flawlessly on original hardware as well!

What kind of printing is it? I wonder how well the latch will hold up. I have one that could use a replacement.
