I think there's a lot of opportunity for sports in the Atmosphere. A standard set of lexicons could define games, statistics, standings, events, etc. Leagues could produce their own records and own their own data. Atmosphere apps/sites could easily follow live updates.

Me too. Writing is always such a clarifying thinking activity and trying to organize my thoughts for this was so beneficial to me

I found this extremely helpful! I have also been experimenting with atproto stuff and feel like I keep thinking backwards about things, and this really helped solidify it all

That's great to hear because that wasn't my intention at all. Now that you mention it, sports data was a bad first project to actually do anything useful, but perhaps a good one to learn atproto because you keep thinking there has to be an easier or better way and there often is not
