doesn't "from the ground up" mean actually a remake? remasters usually are just made to run okay on modern hardware with some extra graphical options. remakes are... not that.

I loved Gears back in the day. It's one of the franchises that defined the 360 for me. Bounced off after Judgement so this is the perfect time to replay, at least the first one. Hope there's a toggle for old and new graphics (like Halo Anniversay)

It is. The multiplayer is going to be 🔥🔥🔥 playing against PS5 owners. The PC crowd can play themselves because it won't be fair.

Its Crossplay and crossplatform. MP doesn't even require an xbox account (all the other goodies do)

Lancers are boring. It's a gnasher or boltok all the way. Gnasher for the bodyshots, boltok for the headshots. I do hope they do it Gears of War 1/2 style. 3 was meh and everything after was bad.

Very cool that one of the most iconic Xbox games is coming to PS, not so cool that Gears 1 is kind of mediocre and boring compared to like every other big cover shooter
