And this is all measured with pnpm, which dedupes dependencies more aggressively... Both these numbers are much worse with npm 🙈.

Any particular dep that needs to be worked on here for the biggest wins? When I last checked, it was a mix of different ones that were part of @netlify/dev

We have a few things in progress that will make dents when they land: 1. We extracted platform emulation into (better, smaller!) composable packages last year, but never finished refactoring CLI to use them. So now it's carrying the weight of both implementations. Will save 19 deps, 117 total, 20MB.

2. The `@netlify/zip-it-and-ship-it` package, responsible for packaging Netlify Functions, supports multiple bundlers. We're working on removing an old legacy bundler. Will save 34 total deps, 32MB. (Would be cool to drop esbuild too...)

Other low-hanging fruit that aren't Netlify's own problems: 5. inquirer machinery pulls in 58 total deps and 36MB. Absolutely ridiculous. Clack is 6 deps and 200KB. 6. @octokit/rest to make a couple GH API calls. Nah. Will save 20 total deps, 19MB. Then I think it's a long tail of improvements...
