I love @fly.io and want them to succeed, but their continued unreliability forces me to consider alternative hosting solutions. I’m looking into Kamal and Digital Ocean. Any other recommendations?

I have a simple app running on Render and I'm happy so far.

How do you deploy it? Using a docker container or do they know how to run Phoenix apps?

They know how to deploy Phoenix apps, basically you include a build script that generates the release render.com/docs/deploy-...

Hmm maybe I’ll go for this one too. I like having a PaaS that takes care of the build step for me.

Render is very similar to Heroku, but seem more stable, don't have the annoying daily restarts, have health checks and simple autoscaling.
