I've dealt with confusion on right to delete laws and find it important to point out it's not "delete anywhere any time". Like the California Consumer Privacy Act details " DELETE personal information businesses have collected from you (subject to some exceptions)." Exceptions like:

Even with those exceptions, a deletion request allows you to keep your personal information (PI) from being sold and keeps your personal information from being used for marketing--while retaining information for transactions (delivery, registration, warrantee, etc.)
