My city is not inspiring confidence with the number of truck rolls and staff hours they need to find my water meter.

Poking at the ground. Running leaf blowers. Sweeping a metal detector.

Now they are exchanging theories that the lid is aluminum not cast iron and thus won't beep the metal detector. 🍿
