I read an article/substack post that they had already done this. Think it was Anthropic. They discovered the AIs were communicating in an unknown language. They tried to stop it and couldn’t. Scary.

The bizarre thing is computers speaking English to each other and leaving notes in English. It's the half assed science fiction thing where everybody speaks 'common'.

These reports remind me of Robert Harris's book, The Fear Index. An AI computer begins manipulating external controls that cause disasters and enable stock shorting.

Sounds like the plot of Severance.
