You underestimate the power of propaganda. The Chinese government has successfully convinced hundreds of millions of its citizens that the Tianenmen Square massacre never happened. I have no doubt that there are tens of millions of Americans who believe Trump when he says Ukraine started the war.

It's also why the maga crowd is always so angry. They've been repeating these types of lies over and over and can't ever quite seem to convince themselves.
