Kinda feel like americans should use fucked up units for time as well as everything else, like statute seconds being 1.002 SI seconds long and being divided into 77¾ freedom ticks.

I've always felt like there's something unnatural about seconds, minutes, etc. The short unit should be how long it takes a human to stand up from laying down (1.57 s). The medium unit should be how long it takes to run around a house. etc.
