I think the way the European Movement should be countering "we'll be forced to join the Euro" is not "no we won't" but "we will be politically committed to joining the Euro AND THIS IS WHY THAT IS GREAT FOR THE UK"

The whole of British society seems to take it as given that "losing" the pound = bad thing but I guarantee that challenging this lazy assumption will change minds. Just point to how it has made Germany, Ireland, France, Netherlands, much richer. As for 'tradition', the UK pound is younger than me.
