If you ignore false positives they could cripple the medical system, think of the NHS especially, or force people into needless testing, e.g. doi.org/10.1016/j.pv...

so that did answer my question, not false positives for tumours, but as theyre non malignant they need the occasional monitoring. its be severely problematic when their models cant differentiate between malignant and non malignant tumors. like.. pre screening sure but a human has to judge as well
