Because I’ve been developing in PHP specifically with Laravel since about 2013 and Offprint has been in development since before AI was any good with development. So I built it with the language and framework I specialize in professionally. Build with what you know.

This is just the beginning of the AI future we didn’t want, easily found, critical CVEs and RCEs will just become a normal part of our lives from now on. This is not a PHP specific issue, unfortunately.

Oh no my gripes with PHP predate Attention Is All You Need, I'm an old school hater, I was just curious why it was chosen for such a recent project. "The best tool is the one you have" is probably one of the better reasons tbh
