Nuxt 4.6 is out, alongside nuxt/cli v4 🚀 🧩 `nuxt/server`, our first big step to a server-agnostic Nuxt 🎯 typed `$fetch` was rebuilt (no more TS2589!) 🔐 `appSecret` + sealed cookie sessions ⚡️ Vue Vapor support 🐛 brand new dev error pages … plus lots of groundwork for Nuxt 5 🏔️ 👉 nuxt.com/blog/v4-6

first, Nuxt CLI v4 gives `nuxt dev` an interactive panel: URLs, startup progress, request logs and single-key shortcuts it's also 73% smaller and gets to first paint 6.6x faster ⚡️ github.com/nuxt/cli/re...

🧩 `nuxt/server` is a new import source for server code, built on web standards meaning the same handler can run on Nitro v2, Nitro v3 or the new (very experimental) `@nuxt/vite-server` ⚡ ... so modules can support Nuxt 4 _and_ Nuxt 5 from one file

this has been a long time coming, and it rests on years of work from @pi0.io on h3, Nitro and web-standard server primitives thank you, Pooya ❤️ 👉 Nitro is still the default, and still the right choice for almost everyone

🎯 typed `$fetch` is rebuilt on `fetchdts` 3000 server routes used to take 53s to type-check - now it's just 0.2s! request bodies are checked against what each handler validates, too 👉 you can opt in with `experimental.routeTypedFetch`

🐛 dev errors now come with mapped stack traces and a code frame from your own source, in the browser and the terminal there's even a 'copy as agent prompt' button 👀

⬆️ to upgrade: npx nuxt upgrade --dedupe ... and a huge thank you to everyone who contributed! 💚
