Is it me or more and more people are getting hacked on Discord? And I need to kick those who were hacked just in case, to avoid them sending DMs to others on the server. If I could I would "jail" them until the problem is resolved, but you can't prevent DMs from specific users, afaik.

Found out thanks to a comment that you can actually set up a role that can only view a single channel, that any other user can't see. By doing this sending DMs to other users shouldn't be possible. A "jail" role, which prevents needing to kick the person until the account is recovered. Cool!

Keep in mind anyone with Mod perms would have access, (not sure the mod team size in your server, and not assuming all the mods wouldn't be made aware prior, BUT) the hacked user could try and DM anyone with mod access who can see the room still. It may fail, but on the other hand would be use full.

"use full" in that of the hacked account tries to DM someone aware its a scam, they can screenshot the DM's and warn folks with specifics, if you see this fake game or video, or trailer, or wording be warry. They of course change the wording and imagery, but helps to keep a paper trail of examples.
