“Thou shall not bear false witness.” I remember that being in the Bible, too. Funny how these fake “Christians” that support Trump use the words as an excuse to do whatever they want, but literally NONE of them actually follows what the words say. F* those people. Vote EVERY Republican OUT.

As a practical matter, live-streaming the execution of a paralyzed Muslim seeking martyrdom is a PR win for extremist groups like ISIS, Al Qaeda and the Taliban. They will show the video as a tool to get recruits fired up and angry at the United States… thus generating more recruits for the cause.

It’s not Christian. New Testament trumps old. They Claim to be Christian but ignore Jesus’ teachings. GOP is compromised of fake Christians.

If you find this appalling, yet also describe yourself as a Christian, then you need to be honest with yourself. You and your cohorts happily walk around with a form of public execution around your necks or tattooed on your skin. These particular ones just want to see it revived.

For a minor sect of Christians,… There fixed the head line. A vast majority of Christian churches oppose it. His very very small and extreme sect is not a reflection of Christian belief

It doesn't matter, all the hype did its job. Just like every other outrageous statement and act, people flock to social media and news outlets hold panels. The more time everyone spends on this chaff, the less time spent covering the Epstein files.

The guillotine is the poor person's tool. They wouldn't even consider the symbolization of it. I think we need to start building them all over the places where the GOP hang out. As warning signs for the future to come if they try and stop us from taking back our country.

i’m so tired of the “well some people with implied previous moral credibility (which was also not accurate) are ok with it” reporting about every horrible thing

I did not know that there was digital streaming in biblical times. This really clears a lot of things up. Like, I always wondered how the emperor of Rome was able to watch the crucifixion. Duh, he just streamed it.

Those are not Christians and we need to stop caring about what they think - start talking about the moral rot and depravity in this administration and those fake ass Christian religions - stay on topic and quit with the fringe opinion bs

oh yeah, as long as that "church" REFUSES to preach the teachings of jesus. it's ALMOST like their religion is white nationalism...

I think The MAD Centrist was talking about people who self-identity as #Christians but who do not practice what Jesus preached. Few #UnitarianUniversalists even "self-identity" as Christians these days. Many U*Us are #atheists or #agnostics. emersonavenger.blogspot.com/2026/07/chri... #UUism

emersonavenger.blogspot.comChristian Unitarian Universalists And UUA Child Sex Abuse Cover-Up And Denial - What's The Connection? Can Unitarian Universalists, Christian U*Us or otherwise, say Rev. Ronald Eugene Robinson ? Earlier this week something I encountered online...

Yeah, that was the point of the joke. Unitarians were marginally Christian before and are "anything goes" now that they're "universalist".

separation of church and state. I don’t give a shit about his political beliefs versus his religious beliefs. He’s a fucking civilian. Put Hegseth in front of a firing squad immediately. He’s a piece of shit.

The death penalty is not a deterrent. If it were, Texas would have stopped having to execute people a hundred years ago. The only deterrent to violent crime to ensure the criminals are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (within the law), jailed, without the possibility of parole ever.

No mention of the number of followers of the extremist Christonationalist church. No use of “sect” or “cult” to describe the group holding the extreme, outlier belief in public executions. At least article mentions the Catholic position and concern for those firing the guns.

Well at least according to Wikipedia there are 171 congregations and between 25,000 and 30,000 members. Since they have only been around since 1998 I'd say they have grown alarmingly fast.

"As of 2020, the CREC was estimated to have around 15,000 members. According to World magazine, the CREC "grew rapidly during the pandemic, due to its staunch opposition to COVID-19 restrictions.""

Would we put a military blockade around said islands so no foreign power could go in and remove them? How many millions of dollars will that take to keep them from ending up with Putin or Bibi? Just jail them in some CIA black site and throw away the keys.

Where would you suggest we send them? I say they should be jailed for the rest of their miserable lives - not freed to do to another country what they did here. Could you imagine what they'd do if they ended up with Putin? Or Bibi? The world is not safe with these folks on the loose.

I'll lay odds that National Guardsmen Hegseth, not ARMY, would not have the courage to be part of the firing squad. Hid trigger finger has bone spurs. 🤣

What kind of disease do journalists have to try to sanewash the most fascist things Republicans do? What’s next? “Slavery has a biblical mandate”?

This large group of Christian’s Nationalist quote the “Bible” to serve as their foundation yet they never quote the words of Christ himself- I find that very interesting- shouldn’t Christ himself be their primary source as Christians?

Anytime I see shit like this I always see someone else goin’ “Ah, but they’re not real Christians” and it’s like idk man, the purpose and beliefs of a belief system is what it does. And what Christianity in America does is… Well this.
