Omg amazing idea!! I had never thought of that! A complete first for me. Thank God you let me in on this solution. Best of luck in your career making shitty comments about strangers with cancer, I'm sure you'll be amazing at it!

I'm so lucky you took the time to offer this advice! I'd never considered it! This will work out great as it's an ideal time for a couple in science and higher Ed to hit the open and abundant job market. Can't wait to inform our elderly parents of their move, either w us or nursing home. Bless you 💓

No you don’t! 💙 I spent my college years in Iowa. I met some incredibly kind and sweet people like yourself. I’m sure you’re also disgusted at how so many people there have voted against their interest and those around them. The meme wishes consequences on MAGA certainly not you or most Iowans.

Grew up in Iowa and know lots of Dems who live there, including my mom. It’s not easy being a blue dot, but thank you for speaking up and I hope you are on a path to healing.

I’m sure Iowa’s laser focus on removing civil rights protections from trans people will somehow fix all those pesky cancer issues. Meanwhile, trans people should move to Minnesota. I can’t speak for the iron range, but the twin cities welcomes you all.

Feb. 19th, 2025. The Iowa Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-7 to advance Bayer’s Cancer Gag Act (SSB 1051). This would shield pesticide manufacturers from lawsuits related to the health impacts of their products.

Haven't you been keeping up? The state of Iowa has moved forward from trans athletes to trans all, removing them from equal rights protections... that's so they can remove them from anything they want, sports is just a start.

IOWA: Where rich people get a discount on private school, public schools are defunded to provide that, and services for IEPs are cut. Where you can easily get cancer, but can't afford treatment, and no new treatments being explored. Where they take people's rights away for freedom? I guess it's MAGA

Musk and the felon don’t care about Iowa or any other states cancer rates. They both want to destroy the United States. It should be obvious even to red states that they are being decimated so that billionaires can carb up the country into corporate fiefdoms.

End of the article Trumper Kathie Evenhouse says the cuts should be more surgical and yet ignores the fact that cuts to programs affect real people not necessarily her. Here’s hoping a program cut doesn’t affect Kathie’s world.

I live in Iowa. It’s tragic what’s happening with all of these federal job cuts. At the same time, no sympathies for this woman whose cancer treatment will be impacted. She voted for this lunatic and she will have to survive or die in this new insane world.

Bridie, allow me to apologize. Of course, I know red states have democrats in them and I do not celebrate their pain. I DO celebrate the pain of every MAGA - red or blue state - who bought this down on all of us, including their unwilling neighbors. Good luck in your fight with cancer. Good health.

Damn…when you recklessly blanket a farm state (for decades) with every type of “cide” imaginable, cancer abounds…yet their Senators too cowardly to fight for cancer research and the money needed to treat those afflicted.

Can confirm. My Mother was one of thirteen children growing up on a Nebraska Farm during the 1920/1930s. Half of them died of Cancer(s) before they reached 55yrs old. DDT. The kids ran behind the machines because the mist "smelled good".

My Mom is the girl on the lower row, with her arms around her little sisters. My Mom shaped me. To be an independent woman. And I am so grateful to her everyday! And I will continue to smile with joy and laughter, the way she did!
