So, I’ve seen a lot of talk online about how Trump is “10 steps ahead of everyone” regarding tariffs. The tariffs will “bring the jobs back to America”. Really? Maybe a few, but not really. And this is why. Using the iPhone as an example, currently the employees making the iPhone get $3-4/hr USD

A typical worker in the US doing an equivalent manufacturing job makes around $20/hr. And that’s not including benefits. That is a 400-600% increase on labor costs alone to produce products in the US. There is a “world economy” for a reason. It’s is basic economics.

You want to “make America great again” with a leader who has filed bankruptcy six times and has had dozens upon dozens of failed businesses. The only thing he is accomplishing is making the rich richer while more money comes from you pocket and the MAGA sheep are helping him.
