Real question, if an ice or border patrol agent refuses to show their face and identify themself with full name and badge number, why would it not be assumed they are imposters and therefore presenting a imminent danger to your or someone else’s life? Could you not shoot them in self defense?

If someone that you have reason to believe is a stranger that is trying to harm you, you have every right to defend yourself. If you’re licensed to carry a gun, it’s reasonable to assume you’d use it to defend yourself from a dangerous stranger.
