Great episode. I wonder how performance of digi twins is validated ensuring virtual behavior is likely to characterize the thing they intend to eventually build. Aviation design was mentioned and there it has been very difficult to validate models without having actual performance to validate them.

Idk. My experience is in “operational testing” aviation platforms. The recent industry push to do little to no “live” testing and rely on simulations to predict performance without validation (I.e., don’t build a couple and gather data…just predict by analysis) gave me some sleepless nights.
