Another lil PSA for my fellow WHITE trans folk. Yes-- we are facing discrimination at a whole new intensity-- but we still have WHITE PRIVILEGE. We are NOT as bad off as POC queer folk, and we NEED to use that privilege as much as possible to ensure their safety AND be good allies.

While yes-- discrimination CAN give you a perspective on the struggles of other people, anti-trans sentiment is NOWHERE NEAR as ingrained into modern society as racism. Our struggles are NOT composable and we GOTTA be mindful. Especially since so much of queer language is appropriated from AAVE.
