I can see, 7 years ago, this as a toy/tool: "Let's use this image generator. It will make a blurry, malformed thing automatically (and cheaply, locally), but it holds the place and makes it clear that 'image does here' but noone ever would use this shit for anything serious"

I am convinced that LLMs and AI image generators and so on are the result of a bunch of engineers looking at art and going “ok but how hard can it really be?” at the very bottom of the AI “art” is a basic disrespect for human creativity
