Argument could be made for 5 of 5 after the Epic Games "dark patterns" microtransaction judgement. Not *officially* new legislation/regulation, though it did shift the industry's microtransaction strategy downward. Mind you not an official "loss," though downgrading of potential gains.

I could see that argument made. I can't remember if Bungie made any adjustments to Eververse around that time. Something worth looking into.

From memory (read: don't quote me here) I feel like shortly after was the introduction of Bright Dust gifts and the split of Silver Only items and Silver or Bright Dust based on rotating availability. Adding the "free tier" (if you wait for it, and play to earn Dust) feels like the strategy shift
