My compassion fatigue has made it nigh impossible for me to have empathy with her and her ilk. I remember her antisemitism, and how she stalked David Hogg around DC calling him a hoaxster.

Yeah, this about sums it up for me. Also (& I suspect we share this view too) having some level of empathy for her does not in any way excuse or negate the harms she has done (and will no doubt continue to do). She still can and should be held to account for her actions. Consequences ≠ threats.
