Just about got run over by somebody in a BMW X4 backing out of their own driveway (had to tell "stop" at the top of my lungs) who then had the temerity to call me an asshole and flip me off as they drove away, after I asked them to please watch for bikes because they almost killed me.

My BMW-hater and war on cars sentiments grow deeper. Concrete separation of bikes and cars is the only answer with people like that loose in the world.
