i wanted to whine about feeding the ducks but i loved the ending. (thought i heard you shouldn't feed the duck with ANYTHING)

Yes, there are competing schools of thought on whether feeding any wild animals is right. We have some nature reserves near us that insist that visitors feed the birds (with supplied feed or frozen peas) but all warn against bread!
